Palestinian Stabber Neutralized After Attack on Route 505
A Palestinian assailant carried out a stabbing attack this morning on Route 505, also known as the Trans-Samaria Highway, which connects Route 60 to the Jordan Valley. The attacker, identified as Mahmoud Al-Qara from the village of Qabalan, was neutralized by Israeli forces following the incident. The attack occurred in an area that overlooks a central traffic artery.
Following the morning's events, Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a statement. The IDF spokesperson also provided details regarding an earlier strike on a Hamas operative, stating that munitions were diverted in real-time to avoid civilian casualties.
