Trooper and Yisrael Acheret Party Agree to Joint Run in Upcoming Elections

The "Yisrael Acheret" party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, and the "Beit Tzioni" party, headed by Chili Tropper, have announced they will run together in the upcoming elections. As part of the agreement, Tropper and his party members will join Eisenkot's Knesset list. The merger also includes the addition of Shira Shapira, Elissef Peretz, and Shlomi Yehiav to the joint list.

The parties stated that the goal of this union is to establish a "Zionist and state-oriented government" and to strengthen cohesion and partnership within Israeli society. Shira Shapira is an architect and urban planner, mother of the late Anar Shapira, and a former senior public service manager. Elissef Peretz is an educator and reserve combat soldier, brother of fallen soldiers Uriel and Eliraz Peretz, and founder of the "Our Brothers" association. Shlomi Yehiav previously served as chairman of the National Union of Students and is a reserve commander.

Gadi Eisenkot welcomed the agreement, calling Tropper a "value-driven and state-oriented leader, a man of action and service, and a partner in the belief in responsibility, national unity, and deep commitment to the State of Israel." He added that the merger with Tropper, Shapira, Peretz, and Yehiav strengthens the "value-driven and quality team" they are building and offers a "serving and state-oriented Zionist alternative."

Chili Tropper stated that these are "decisive days that require us to make responsible decisions and look to Israel's best interests." He added that "Beit Tzioni will join the straight path led by Gadi Eisenkot." Tropper also praised Eisenkot's "mental resilience and value-based backbone," calling it "worthy leadership."

The agreement comes as the deadline for finalizing party lists for the elections approaches, with ongoing political negotiations for mergers and list formations.
