Trooper and Hendel Dissolve Political Partnership Amid Complex Political Landscape

Former Knesset Member Chili Trooper and "Miluimnikim" (Reservists) Chairman Yoaz Hendel announced on Sunday the dissolution of their joint political partnership within the "Tzionic-Miluimnikim" party. The two, who established the political framework in recent weeks with the aim of forming a broad Zionist government, stated that in light of the complex political reality, each has made a personal decision regarding his future path.

In their joint statement, Trooper and Hendel emphasized their close relationship, spanning over twenty years and including neighborly ties, shared synagogue attendance, and reserve military service. They noted that the party they founded had gained significant traction and attracted many members. Despite the political split, they stressed that their ideological partnership and personal friendship remain intact, asserting that there are no lingering resentments between them.

Both individuals committed to continuing to serve the country and its citizens, as well as the reservist community and internal cohesion, each from their chosen platform. They expressed confidence in future public collaboration and highlighted that their long-standing friendship, which predates their political endeavors, will continue.

This development comes as reports suggest Trooper is aligning with Gadi Eisenkot, while Hendel will pursue a separate path.
