Eisenkot's Yashar! Party and Tropper's Zionist House Form Joint List

Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar! party and Hili Tropper's Zionist House announced Sunday they will run together on a joint list in the upcoming Israeli legislative elections. The agreement will see MK Hili Tropper, along with Shira Shapira, Elisaf Peretz, and Shlomi Yahav, join the Yashar! list for the next Knesset. The alliance aims to foster a "Zionist and responsible" government, strengthen Israeli societal cohesion, and restore public trust. Both parties also pledged to support Israelis serving in the military and public service.

Notable additions to the list include Shira Shapira, a public sector leader and mother of Aner Shapira, who was killed on October 7 while trying to repel grenades thrown by terrorists. Elisaf Peretz, an educator and reservist fighter, whose brothers were killed in combat, also joins, as does Shlomi Yahav, former head of the national student union and a reserve major.

Eisenkot welcomed Tropper and his colleagues, stating the union strengthens Yashar!'s team. He described Tropper as a leader "committed to values and the spirit of the state, a man of action and service." Eisenkot presented the alliance as a "Zionist, responsible, and committed alternative" to the current government, which he labeled the "government of October 7." He expressed a desire to continue uniting forces to win the elections, replace the government, and form a broad coalition to restore public confidence.

Tropper emphasized the need for responsible decisions guided by Israel's interests, stating, "It is time to reconnect Israel from within." He praised Eisenkot as an "upright and humane leader" and highlighted his resilience during the war and personal hardships. Tropper concluded by calling for unified work "out of love for the people and the country."
