Israeli Military and Police Launch Large-Scale Exercise in Eilat Region

A large-scale security forces exercise, involving the Israeli military and police, is set to commence on Monday, September 7, 2026, in the Eilat and Arava region. Residents can expect to observe increased activity from security forces, aircraft, and naval vessels starting Sunday. The exercise, which was pre-scheduled as part of the Operations Directorate's 2026 training program, aims to enhance the readiness and operational capabilities of all participating forces.

The exercise will see participation from the Eilat Police Directorate, additional Israel Police units under the Southern District command, and the Israel Defense Forces. Joint training will also involve ground forces, the air force, and the navy.
