Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight drop in temperatures on Sunday, September 6, 2026, bringing them closer to seasonal averages. Variable cloudiness is expected nationwide. Light rain may occur in the morning hours in the north and along the Mediterranean coast.
Temperatures will range from 18-29 degrees Celsius in the Jerusalem region, 24-31 in Tel Aviv and Haifa, 27-37 in Eilat, and 22-33 in Beersheba. The Dead Sea area will see temperatures between 27-37 degrees, Ashkelon and Ashdod 24-31, Ariel 20-30, Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee 23-34, and the Golan Heights 21-34.
Sea water temperature along the Mediterranean coast will reach 30 degrees Celsius, with wave heights of 50-100 centimeters. Winds will be northwesterly up to 20 km/h in the Tel Aviv and Haifa areas, northwesterly up to 30 km/h on the Sea of Galilee, and northeasterly up to 25 km/h in the Eilat Bay area.
