Israel Weather Forecast: Slight Heat Drop, Scattered Showers Expected
Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight decrease in temperatures on Sunday, September 6, bringing them closer to seasonal averages. The day will feature variable cloudiness, with a chance of light rain in the morning across the northern part of the country and along the Mediterranean coast.
Highs are expected to range from 18-29 degrees Celsius in Jerusalem, 24-31 in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and 27-37 in Eilat. Other cities will see similar conditions, with Beer Sheva at 22-33 degrees and the Dead Sea coast also reaching 27-37 degrees.
Sea temperatures along the Mediterranean coast will be around 30 degrees Celsius, with wave heights between 50 and 100 centimeters. Winds will be predominantly northwesterly along the coast, reaching up to 20 km/h in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and up to 30 km/h near the Sea of Galilee. The Eilat Bay will experience northeasterly winds up to 25 km/h.
Looking ahead, temperatures are predicted to rise on Monday and Tuesday, with no significant changes expected from Wednesday through Saturday.
