Gunman Neutralized After Firing on Police in Netanya
Police forces in Netanya, central Israel, neutralized an armed suspect who opened fire on them Saturday evening in the Kiryat Hasharon neighborhood. According to an initial police statement, the suspect fired towards a police unit, and officers and combatants responded quickly to neutralize him. Large police forces from the Central District, led by Major General Amir Cohen, were deployed to the scene. At the time of the statement, there were no reports of injuries among the police forces.
