Maccabi Tel Aviv Players and Fans Pack Food Parcels for Needy

Players and fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv, alongside the "Brothers for a Symbol" association and the Maccabi Foundation, gathered at the "Lago" halls in Rishon LeZion to pack 2,850 food parcels. The event, which included player Gabi Kanikovsky, marks the culmination of a ten-day fundraising drive that raised NIS 825,000 from fans and the public. These parcels, along with hundreds of shopping vouchers, will be distributed nationwide ahead of the Rosh Hashanah holiday to families facing financial hardship, lone soldiers, Holocaust survivors, elderly individuals living alone, and others in need.

The "Doing Good in Yellow" project, which runs twice a year before Rosh Hashanah and Passover, is celebrating its 14th year. The initiative operates entirely on volunteer efforts, and over the years, tens of thousands of food parcels have been packed and distributed to individuals and families requiring assistance, irrespective of their team affiliation.
