Israel Won't Leave Lebanon Security Zone Until Hezbollah Disarmed

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant declared that Israel will not withdraw from its self-declared security zone in southern Lebanon until Hezbollah is disarmed throughout the country and threats to northern Israeli residents are removed. Gallant stated that the capture of the Ali Taher ridge marks the completion of Israel's control over the area. He also reported that Hezbollah's command tunnels have been cleared of militants.

"Israel will not withdraw from the security zone in Lebanon until Hezbollah is disarmed of its weapons throughout Lebanon and the threats above the residents of the Galilee are removed," Gallant said, emphasizing the condition for withdrawal. The operation to secure the Ali Taher ridge is seen as a significant step in establishing Israeli control over the designated zone. The clearing of Hezbollah command tunnels indicates a successful effort to neutralize militant infrastructure in the region.
