Hapoel Tel Aviv Completes Roster with Bruno Caboclo Signing

Hapoel Tel Aviv has finalized its roster for the upcoming season with the signing of Brazilian forward Bruno Caboclo to a two-year deal. The club deliberated for weeks on the final player to join coach Dimitris Itoudis's squad, ultimately choosing the 27-year-old.

Unlike his previous season, Caboclo arrives healthier and is expected to contribute more significantly this year. "We know what we are getting with Bruno, and he also knows his teammates, which is a big advantage," a club source stated. "It is very important in Bruno's case to manage expectations, and there is an understanding between the sides about what he will give the team."

Meanwhile, Max Heidegger is expected to participate in his first practice session on Friday, despite not yet being officially presented as a player. A dispute resolution process between Heidegger and Bnei Herzliya is set to begin this week. While an arbitrator might rule that Heidegger cannot play in Israel this season, Hapoel Tel Aviv has decided to allow him to train with the team in the interim.

Hapoel Tel Aviv is scheduled to depart for Belgrade on Friday afternoon for a preparation game against Partizan on Saturday. They will play another exhibition match against FMP Belgrade on Sunday before returning to Sofia. The team will then compete in another preparation tournament in Italy the following weekend. They are set to return to Israel after the Rosh Hashanah holiday, with a full roster, for the Super Cup game against Maccabi Tel Aviv on September 17th at Menora Mivtachim Arena.
