Hapoel Tel Aviv Signs Bruno Caboclo to Two-Year Deal

Hapoel Tel Aviv has finalized its roster for the 2026-27 season by signing Bruno Caboclo for a second stint with the club. The Brazilian center agreed to a two-year contract, returning to the team coached by Dimitris Itoudis. Caboclo initially joined Hapoel Tel Aviv in the summer of 2024 from Partizan Belgrade.

During his first season, Caboclo was a key player, averaging 10.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game. He was instrumental in the team's EuroCup victory and their historic qualification for the EuroLeague. However, he missed the start of the past season due to a back injury and subsequently struggled to find a consistent role in Itoudis's rotation.

Caboclo then moved to Dubai, where he played 11 EuroLeague games, averaging 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds. Prior to his time in Israel, Caboclo was selected 20th overall in the 2014 NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors, playing for them and the Memphis Grizzlies over several seasons. He also had stints in Germany's Ulm and with Partizan Belgrade, and has represented the Brazilian national team, notably scoring 33 points against Japan and 30 against the USA in the Olympics.
