Bruno Caboclo Returns to Hapoel Tel Aviv on Two-Year Deal
Hapoel Tel Aviv has signed Brazilian forward Bruno Caboclo to a two-year contract, filling out their roster. The 31-year-old, who stands at 2.06 meters, previously played for Hapoel Tel Aviv before departing for Dubai just eight months ago. The club considered other candidates over the past two months before deciding Caboclo was the right fit.
Caboclo was also seriously considered by Maccabi Tel Aviv. He will join Hapoel's frontcourt alongside Tai Odiase, Dan Ortero, Zach LeDay, Ish Wainright, Tomer Ginat, and Itay Segev.
During the 2024/25 season, Caboclo was instrumental in Hapoel Tel Aviv's EuroCup victory, averaging 7.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. However, injuries led the club to move him during the break. He ultimately left in January, signing with a Dubai club where he played 11 EuroLeague games, averaging 6.3 points and 3.1 rebounds.
