Israel Weather Forecast: Slight Heat Drop, Mostly Clear Skies Expected

Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight decrease in temperatures on Friday, September 4th, bringing them closer to seasonal averages with mostly clear skies. Highs in Jerusalem will be around 29 degrees Celsius, while Tel Aviv and Haifa will see temperatures up to 31 degrees. Eilat is expected to reach 39 degrees, and Beer Sheva 33 degrees. Coastal areas like Ashkelon and Ashdod will experience highs of 31 degrees, with the Dead Sea coast reaching 36 degrees. Temperatures around the Sea of Galilee will be up to 35 degrees, and in Ariel, up to 30 degrees. The Golan Heights will see highs of 36 degrees.

Water temperature along the Mediterranean coast will be 30 degrees Celsius, with wave heights between 50 and 80 centimeters. Winds on Friday will be predominantly westerly along the Mediterranean coast, reaching up to 15 km/h in Tel Aviv and 20 km/h in Haifa. Northwest winds up to 25 km/h are expected near the Sea of Galilee, and northeast winds up to 20 km/h in the Eilat Bay area.

No significant weather changes are anticipated for Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are expected to rise again on Monday and Tuesday, with conditions remaining largely unchanged on Wednesday and Thursday.
