7-Year-Old Critically Injured After Being Hit by Tractor in Kafr Qara
A 7-year-old girl is in critical condition after being struck by a tractor in the town of Kafr Qara on Thursday evening. Magen David Adom (MDA) received a report at 9:38 PM about the incident and dispatched medical teams to a local clinic where the child had been brought. Paramedics found the girl unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, with severe chest and head injuries. Advanced resuscitation efforts, including CPR, artificial respiration, and medication, were administered before she was transported by an MDA intensive care ambulance to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. Resuscitation efforts continued en route to the hospital.
"When we arrived, the girl was lying in a local clinic, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, after being injured by a tractor," said MDA paramedic Rawad Arbasi, who was part of the motorcycle unit. "We immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and administering medication. We transported her to the hospital in very critical condition, continuing resuscitation efforts."
