Maccabi Haifa Nears Deal for Turkish Second Division Winger Pedro Brazão
Israeli football club Maccabi Haifa is reportedly close to signing Pedro Brazão, a winger currently playing for Bodrum in the Turkish second division. The transfer fee is expected to be around €1 million, with Brazão himself set to earn a salary of €400,000 per season.
Brazão began his career in France with Nice before a loan spell in Switzerland. He later moved to Famalicão in his native Portugal, where he scored two goals in two years. His move to Bodrum saw him score 14 goals in 101 appearances.
This season, Brazão has played three matches for Bodrum without scoring or assisting. Last season, he recorded 8 goals and 4 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions. He represented Portugal at various youth levels up to the under-20 team but did not progress to the senior squad.
