Maccabi Haifa Nears Deal for Turkish Second Division Winger Pedro Brazão
Israeli football club Maccabi Haifa is reportedly close to finalizing the signing of winger Pedro Brazão from Turkish second-division side Bodrum. The transfer fee is expected to be around €1 million, with Brazão himself set to earn a salary of €400,000 per season.
Brazão began his career in France with Nice before a loan spell in Switzerland. He later moved to Portugal's Famalicão, where he scored two goals in two seasons, before joining Bodrum. In Turkey, he has recorded 14 goals in 101 appearances.
This season, Brazão has played three matches without scoring or assisting. Last season, he netted 8 goals and provided 4 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions. He represented Portugal at various youth levels up to the under-20 team but has not played for the senior national squad.
