Maccabi Haifa Considers Signing Portuguese Winger Pedro Brazão

Following a disappointing start to the season and a 3-1 loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv, Maccabi Haifa is looking to strengthen its attacking front. The club is intensifying efforts to sign another foreign player for the right-winger position. Professional director Lior Rafaelov and coach Barak Bakhar have reviewed several candidates, with 23-year-old Portuguese player Pedro Brazão, currently with Turkish club Bodrum, being a prominent name.

Brazão developed in the youth academy of French club Nice and represented Portugal at various youth national team levels. He had loan spells at Lausanne in Switzerland and played for Famalicão in Portugal between 2021 and 2023. In the summer of 2023, he moved to Bodrum on a free transfer. He is now a potential target for Maccabi Haifa before the transfer window closes.

Last season, Brazão had his most productive year at Bodrum, scoring eight goals and providing four assists across all competitions. However, his current season has been less impressive, with no goals or assists in three appearances so far.
