Maccabi Haifa Pursues Pedro Brazão Amidst Interest from Top European Clubs
Israeli football club Maccabi Haifa is reportedly targeting 23-year-old winger Pedro Brazão, currently playing for Turkish second-division side Bodrum. Brazão, who previously played in Portugal, has attracted attention from several major European clubs in the past.
According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Turkish club Beşiktaş inquired about Brazão's transfer costs from Bodrum last month. Turkish media also reported that Hamburg and Strasbourg were interested in the player.
Further reports from the Daily Mirror indicate that Liverpool contacted Brazão's agent in 2020. At the age of 17, Brazão was also pursued by Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Sporting Lisbon, highlighting his potential from a young age.
Maccabi Haifa is in the process of building its squad for the upcoming season, and Brazão is a key target as they look to strengthen their offensive capabilities.
