Maccabi Haifa Eyes Turkish Winger Pedro Brazão Amid Transfer Window Activity

Israeli football club Maccabi Haifa is reportedly considering the acquisition of 23-year-old winger Pedro Brazão, who currently plays in the second division of Turkey. Assaf Vakinan, the agent for Israeli player Roy Revivo, expressed optimism about Brazão potentially joining Maccabi Haifa, stating that the player could significantly contribute to Israeli football.

Vakinan, who knows Brazão well, described him as a "great player" with considerable potential, currently in good form in Turkey. "I am currently optimistic that he will come to Maccabi Haifa and I also hope for the best," Vakinan said.

In parallel, Vakinan discussed the transfer of his client, Roy Revivo, to Spanish club Elche. He emphasized that Revivo sacrificed considerable financial gain to pursue the opportunity in Spain, calling it "not just another offer." Vakinan expressed confidence that Revivo will succeed at Elche, noting that the team, despite its struggles, is scheduled to play Real Madrid in two weeks.

Vakinan detailed his role in facilitating Revivo's move, stating that he prioritized finalizing the deal over the financial specifics between Elche and Maccabi Tel Aviv. He recounted convincing Revivo and his father, Haim, to proceed with the transfer after they had initially decided to stay with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Vakinan also commended Maccabi Tel Aviv for their cooperation in allowing Revivo to pursue his dream, acknowledging that while Revivo did not leave for free, the club went beyond standard procedures with an empathetic approach, involving owner Mitch Goldhar and the management.
