Maccabi Haifa Nears Deal for Turkish Second Division Winger Pedro Brazão
Israeli football club Maccabi Haifa is reportedly close to finalizing a deal to sign winger Pedro Brazão from Turkish second-division side Bodrum. The transfer fee is expected to be around €1 million, with Brazão himself set to earn a salary of €400,000 per season, making him one of the team's highest earners.
Brazão, a product of the Nice academy, previously played in Switzerland and then for Famalicão in his native Portugal before moving to Bodrum. In Turkey, he has scored 14 goals in 101 appearances. This season, he has played three matches without registering a goal or assist. Last season, he recorded 8 goals and 4 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.
The 23-year-old Portuguese player represented Portugal at various youth levels up to the under-20 team but has not yet played for the senior national squad.
