Maccabi Haifa Officially Signs Brazilian Midfielder Bruninho for Three Years

Maccabi Haifa officially announced the signing of 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder Bruninho on July 2, 2026, concluding a lengthy transfer saga. The club secured his transfer from Ukrainian side Karpaty Lviv for a fee of 1.6 million euros. Bruninho passed his medical tests and will join the team’s training camp immediately. He signed a three-year contract and will earn 400,000 euros per season.

Born in Brazil, Bruninho developed in Atletico Mineiro's youth system and made his senior debut in the 2018/19 season. He subsequently played for several top-tier and second-division Brazilian clubs, including Recife, Confiança, Juventude, CRB, Guarani, and Ceará. In September 2024, he moved on loan to Karpaty Lviv before signing permanently. Over two seasons in Ukraine, he scored 17 goals and provided 8 assists across all competitions.
