Maccabi Haifa Signs Brazilian Midfielder Bruninho Ahead of Hungary Training Camp

Maccabi Haifa has secured the signing of Brazilian midfielder Bruninho, addressing a key position the club has struggled to fill since the days of Charron Shiri and Dia Saba. Bruninho completed his medical tests and officially signed his contract, with plans to join the team at their training camp in Hungary. Previously, Bruninho had agreed to terms with Metalist Kharkiv, but the deal fell through due to family pressure, prompting Haifa to renew negotiations and finalize the transfer during the summer window.

The club expressed satisfaction with the signing, stating, "This was not an easy deal, but there is consensus that he is a player who can significantly upgrade us and contribute numbers from midfield. Expectations are high." Meanwhile, young midfielder Amit Arzi, who traveled with the team to the training camp, is expected to leave on loan to Ironi Kiryat Shmona, with Haifa insisting on a clause guaranteeing him playing time.
