Four Injured, Two Critically, After Vehicle Plunges Into Galilee Ravine

Four people, including a four-year-old child, were seriously injured on Thursday morning when their vehicle skidded off a road and fell into a valley near the town of Ma'alot in the Upper Galilee region of northern Israel. Emergency medical teams reported that a man in his sixties and the young child sustained critical injuries, while a 35-year-old woman and a one-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries. Initial details indicate the man and child sustained severe head injuries, the woman had limb injuries, and the infant girl was injured in the face. Paramedics provided life-saving first aid at the scene before transporting the injured to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya via ambulance and intensive care units. Paramedic Mohammed Zeitoun stated that upon arrival, crews found the vehicle in the ravine, apparently having veered off course while driving. He described the man as having a disturbed state of consciousness and being in a serious, unstable condition, while the child had a severe head injury. The police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the crash to determine the cause of the vehicle's deviation and fall.
