Four Injured, Including Two Children, in Galilee Road Accident

Four people, including two young children, were injured on Thursday morning when a vehicle veered off Road 89 near the town of Ma'alot Tarshiha in the Upper Galilee region of northern Israel. The accident occurred when the car slid and fell into a valley.

According to emergency services, the most seriously injured were a man in his sixties and a four-year-old child, both sustaining critical head injuries. A woman, 35, and a one-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries, to her limbs and the child's face respectively.

Paramedics provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting the injured to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya via ambulance and intensive care units. Eyewitnesses reported the vehicle was found in the valley after apparently losing control while driving.

One paramedic described the man as being in a serious, unstable condition with disturbed consciousness, while the child had a severe head injury. "The crews provided life-saving treatment to the injured before transferring them to the hospital," he stated. The police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
