Audi Q4 e-tron Facelift Arrives in Israel with Price Hike and New Base Model

Audi has launched the updated Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron electric SUVs in Israel, following a global facelift introduced five months ago. The refreshed models, originally debuting in 2021, feature significant updates primarily to the interior and higher-tier powertrain options. The Israeli market receives two of the four available powertrain variants, with prices increasing by approximately NIS 20,000 compared to the outgoing versions. A new entry-level model with a smaller battery is also introduced.

The base model available in Israel offers 204 horsepower, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, and is equipped with a 59 kWh battery providing an estimated range of 440 km (451 km for the Sportback). It supports charging speeds of up to 160 kW. The "Performance" variant, replacing the "45" designation, boasts 285 horsepower, a 0-100 km/h time of 6.6 seconds, and a larger 77 kWh battery for an estimated range of 578 km (592 km for the Sportback), with charging speeds up to 165 kW.

Other powertrain options, including more powerful "Quattro" and "Quattro Performance" all-wheel-drive versions with faster charging capabilities, are not being offered in Israel at this time. The updated models come with Audi's latest infotainment system, featuring larger "11.9-inch" and "12.8-inch" curved displays for the instrument cluster and central multimedia screen, respectively. Additional features include a "12-inch" passenger touchscreen, dual wireless charging pads, enhanced parking aids, Matrix-LED lighting, and upgraded interior materials like leather upholstery and three-zone climate control.

The "Performance" trim adds S-Line styling elements, extended ambient lighting, and "20-inch" wheels. While the safety systems are comprehensive, the vehicle received a score of 6 out of 8 from the Ministry of Transport due to the absence of certain advanced features like intersection collision avoidance and a child reminder system. An optional "Luxury" package will be available, including adaptive suspension, augmented reality head-up display, and a Sonos sound system.

Pricing for the Q4 e-tron starts at NIS 315,000, the Q4 Sportback e-tron at NIS 335,000, the Q4 e-tron Performance at NIS 360,000, and the Q4 Sportback e-tron Performance at NIS 380,000. To celebrate the launch, the first 100 buyers will receive discounts ranging from NIS 15,000 to NIS 20,000, depending on the model.
