Man Found Dead in Yavne, Suicide Suspected

Israeli police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in his 70s in Yavne. His body was discovered on Wednesday afternoon, September 2, on a garden plot near his home on Armon Street. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. While suicide is being considered as a possibility, other versions of events are also being examined.

Magen David Adom (MDA) received a report at 5:04 PM about a body with stab wounds. An MDA medical team, including paramedic Noa Afanasyev and motorcycle medic Mer Levi, responded to the location. Upon arrival, they found the man unconscious with penetrating wounds. "Breathing was absent, pulse was not palpable," the paramedics stated. "We conducted an examination. The wounds were so severe that, unfortunately, we were soon forced to pronounce death."
