Elderly Man Found Dead in Yavne, Suspected Suicide

An elderly man, approximately 70 years old, was found dead in Yavne on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency medical services received a report at 5:04 PM regarding a man injured on Armon Street. Paramedics arriving at the scene found the man unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and suffering from severe penetrating wounds.

Despite their efforts, medical personnel determined the man's injuries were too severe and pronounced him dead at the scene. The preliminary suspicion is that the incident was a suicide.

"We saw the casualty unconscious, without pulse and without breathing with severe penetrating injuries to his body," said MDA paramedic Naomi Afensiev and MDA motorcycle unit EMT Meir Levi. "We performed medical checks, but unfortunately, his injuries were significant, and we could only pronounce him dead."
