IDF Destroys Over 26 Kilometers of Gaza Tunnels Since Ceasefire
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that since the start of the current ceasefire, soldiers from the Northern Brigade and the Yahalom engineering unit have destroyed over 26 kilometers of underground tunnels east of the "yellow line" in the northern Gaza Strip. In recent weeks, the military also discovered and neutralized an additional tunnel approximately one kilometer in length.
Forces from the 99th Division are continuing operations in the area to clear terrorist infrastructure and neutralize immediate threats, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit. The operations focus on areas east of the "yellow line," a designation likely referring to the border fence with Israel.
