Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) units from the Southern Brigade and Yahalom, under the command of the Gaza Division's engineering unit (143), have continued operations in the central and southern Gaza Strip, east of the so-called yellow line. Their mission is to clear the area of terrorist infrastructure. During these operations, the forces sealed two Hamas tunnels with a combined length exceeding two kilometers. The IDF spokesperson stated that this sealing is part of ongoing efforts to neutralize the network of terror tunnels in the Gaza Strip. The troops remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement framework and will continue working to eliminate any immediate threats.
