Netanyahu Praises Shin Bet Operatives After Gaza Abduction Mission

Following a daring operation in Gaza yesterday to capture Moain Al-Aroub, Hamas's head of general security in the Strip, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met personally with the Shin Bet operatives and commanders who led the mission. Netanyahu visited the "yellow line" border with Gaza and subsequently met the operatives at the Gaza Division, praising their actions and safe return.

The operation, which took place in the afternoon, involved infiltration deep into Gaza. It included intensive Air Force activity and a heavy firefight, culminating in the successful capture of Al-Aroub, described as one of the most influential figures in Hamas, and his transfer to Israeli territory.

The mission was reportedly managed by the Southern Command and the Shin Bet. Netanyahu lauded the operatives for their bold actions and for returning safely after the complex operation.
