Israeli AI Startup Wonderful Raises $550 Million at $5 Billion Valuation

Israeli startup Wonderful, which develops an operating system for enterprise AI, announced on Wednesday it has raised approximately $550 million in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Insight Partners and included participation from Salesforce and existing investors such as Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners. The company's valuation now stands at around $5 billion.

The substantial funding will be used to fuel Wonderful's global growth and further develop its AI operating system, driven by increasing demand from large organizations. Since its last funding round in March 2026, Wonderful has expanded its operations to over 35 markets worldwide and employs approximately 650 people, with about half based in Israel. The company has significantly enhanced its enterprise AI platform, which automates end-to-end business processes.

Initially focused on developing AI agents for organizations in countries including Israel, Wonderful has evolved its capabilities from voice and operational agents to multidisciplinary agents and software system development. It now offers a comprehensive AI operating system for enterprises, providing all necessary tools, capabilities, and controls for AI implementation and operation. The company plans to triple the size of its development and implementation center in Israel within the next year to support local growth and ongoing platform development.

Wonderful's operating system provides a unified management layer for all enterprise AI applications, operating on an open platform independent of any single model and compatible with existing IT infrastructure. A key factor in its rapid growth is its front-loading deployment model, which offers local implementation alongside the operating system. This allows clients to quickly adopt initial AI use cases and guides them on expanding platform usage across their organizations.

Wonderful CEO and co-founder Bar Winkler stated that AI operating systems will become the foundation of future organizations, similar to how cloud platforms underpin modern enterprises. He emphasized the need for a shared AI foundation to prevent the fragmentation seen in the traditional SaaS world. CTO and co-founder Roey Lazar emphasized the platform's open and modular design, enabling organizations to integrate AI without replacing existing systems and to choose the best models for their needs.

Jeff Horing, co-founder and managing partner at Insight Partners, highlighted Wonderful's opportunity in the enterprise AI space, noting the company's success in enabling organizations to scale AI usage across their entire operations. He expressed excitement about supporting Wonderful's next growth phase.
