Michal Hak'tana Opens Up About Single Motherhood Challenges

Israeli entertainer Michal Hak'tana has shared her personal struggles as a single mother of six children, detailing the complex family reality where she alone bears the responsibility for the household, livelihood, and raising the children. "This is definitely not a normal situation, nor is it the life I imagined for myself," she stated. Hak'tana explained that the children live with her permanently, while their father sees them for a few hours a week. She admitted the decision to face this reality was not easy, but at a certain point, she realized she had to take control of her life. "The children live with me 24/7. Their father sees them 4 hours a week. I was very afraid. I knew that from the moment I did this, the responsibility for the children was on me. This is not how I imagined my life would look. But the moment came when the fear of staying was greater than the fear of leaving," she recounted. She further described her journey and the strength she has discovered within herself since then. Hak'tana expressed encouragement to her past self, saying, "I would hug her tightly and tell her: Don't be so afraid, you don't yet know how much strength you have and how much life will teach you about yourself. One day you will look back and understand: You did not lose the life you imagined. You discovered the woman you were meant to be."
