Michal Hakatan Reveals Custody Arrangement With Ex-Husband

Children's entertainer Michal Hakatan, 43, has revealed details about her custody arrangement with her ex-husband and the father of her six children, Nir Weizman. Less than two weeks after her recent breakup with Yehuda Buchbut, Hakatan shared on Instagram that her children live with her 24/7, while their father sees them for only four hours a week. This revelation came during an Instagram Q&A session where she was asked about her life post-divorce and how she manages as a single mother.

Hakatan also offered advice to her past self, encouraging her not to fear change and to recognize her inner strength. She reflected on the challenges of raising six children, managing finances, and maintaining a household single-handedly, stating, "It is definitely not a normal situation, nor the life I imagined for myself." She emphasized her commitment to her children, prioritizing their needs above all else and choosing each day how to navigate her path as a mother.

She and Weizman were together for over 25 years, married for 16, and share six children: Yuli, Leo, twins Rif and Ray, Eli, and Naya. Hakatan's recent separation from Buchbut, who is 18 years her junior, followed a coordinated announcement from both parties.
