Lexus NX Facelift, Range Rover EV, and Polestar 4 SUV Revealed

Lexus has unveiled a refreshed NX compact SUV, featuring a more rugged exterior design with updated lighting and a refined grille. Inside, the cabin adopts a cleaner, more modern aesthetic with a "14-inch floating multimedia screen, a "12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a redesigned gear selector and steering wheel. The plug-in hybrid 450h+ model receives an upgraded 2.5-liter engine and a larger 23 kWh battery, boosting its electric-only range to 100 km and its total output to 307 hp. The hybrid 350h variant sees a power reduction to 199 hp in European markets but achieves improved acceleration times. The updated Lexus NX is expected to arrive in Israel in the latter half of 2027.

Land Rover has officially launched the Range Rover Electric (EV), its first all-electric model, after numerous teasers. Built on an 800-volt architecture, it is powered by dual motors producing a combined 550 hp and capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. An entry-level version offers 450 hp. The vehicle weighs 2.81 tons and features a 118.5 kWh battery, providing an estimated range of 598 km, with Land Rover claiming a real-world range of 535 km. It supports 350 kW fast charging, reaching 80% in 22 minutes, and offers 90 cm water wading capability. The Range Rover EV is slated for an Israeli release in the first quarter of 2027.

Polestar has introduced the Polestar 4 SUV, a sportier variant of its existing 4 "coupe" model, sharing the SEA platform. While visually distinct from a traditional SUV, it offers up to 544 hp in its dual-motor configuration, achieving 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, with a range of 600 km. The single-motor rear-wheel-drive version produces 272 hp and has a slightly longer range. Both models use a 100 kWh battery and support 200 kW fast charging. The interior remains largely unchanged, featuring a "15.4-inch central touchscreen and a "10.2-inch driver display, along with a "14.7-inch head-up display. Cargo space is rated at 530 liters, expandable to 1,665 liters with the rear seats folded.
