Israel Weather Forecast: Temperature Rise Expected Mid-Week

Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight temperature increase on Wednesday, September 2, with readings expected to be slightly above the seasonal average. Variable cloudiness is also anticipated. Highs will range from 32 degrees Celsius in Tel Aviv and Ashkelon to 39 degrees in Eilat. Jerusalem will see highs of 32 degrees, Haifa 31, and Beer Sheva 34. The Dead Sea coast will experience highs of 38 degrees, while Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee area will reach 38 degrees. The Golan Heights will have a high of 37 degrees. Sea temperatures along the Mediterranean coast will be around 30 degrees Celsius, with wave heights of 40-80 cm. Winds will be predominantly northwesterly along the Mediterranean coast, reaching up to 20 km/h in Tel Aviv and Haifa. The Sea of Galilee will experience northwesterly winds up to 30 km/h, and the Eilat Bay will have northeasterly winds up to 25 km/h. Temperatures are expected to decrease slightly on Thursday, with no significant changes predicted for Friday through Sunday. A further temperature increase is anticipated for Monday and Tuesday.
