Trump Warns Iran of Devastating Retaliation After US Strikes

The U.S. military conducted strikes against Iranian targets in the port city of Sirik, Bandar Abbas, Chabahar, and Qeshm Island on Tuesday, all located near the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran, stating that any retaliatory action would be met with a significantly more powerful response.

"If Iran retaliates, it will be attacked again with much greater force. But even that will not be the biggest attack. That is still waiting in the wings, and when it is over, very little will remain of the Islamic Republic of Iran," Trump declared.

The U.S. Central Command confirmed the strikes, specifying that American forces began targeting Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) sites at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. These actions were a direct response to recent IRGC attempts to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and target American service members deployed to the region.

Earlier, the U.S. Embassy in Israel issued a security alert for American citizens, citing heightened tensions in the Middle East. The advisory warned of potential unpredictable escalation, flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions. It cautioned that Iran and its proxies might target U.S. interests and facilities globally, urging citizens to remain vigilant, avoid large gatherings, secure safe locations, and follow local authorities' guidance.
