US Strikes Iran, Israel Informed; Trump Denounces Tehran

The United States conducted a nighttime strike targeting Iran's Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz, an action for which Israel was informed. In response to the U.S. strike, Iran fired missiles towards Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Israeli officials assess the situation as a limited, "low-heat" confrontation expected to continue until the U.S. midterm elections in November, provided no significant damage is inflicted on either side. Both the UAE and Jordan condemned the missile attacks on their territories.

Anwar Gargash, advisor to the UAE president, stated that a "neither war nor peace" situation is unsustainable and that targeting Arab Gulf states and Jordan has proven ineffective. He called for realistic, stable political solutions addressing the crisis's political and economic aspects.

U.S. President Donald Trump issued a strong statement declaring Iran a "losing and dead country" with a chaotic leadership incapable of representing it. Trump asserted that Iran lacks an air force, its currency has collapsed, soldiers and police are unpaid, and inflation has reached 300%. He accused the Iranian regime of disseminating false news and blamed its leadership for the deaths of over 100,000 domestic protesters, calling for them to face trial for war crimes against humanity.
