Hapoel Be'er Sheva is optimistic about signing defender Idan Nachmias, who currently belongs to Ludogorets, before the Europa League campaign begins. The club aims to finalize the deal by Wednesday, despite potential tax issues related to his return to Israel that are currently hindering the agreement. If successful, Nachmias is expected to sign a two-year contract with an option for an additional season.
This potential signing will come at the expense of acquiring a foreign defender, as the club has been unsuccessful in finding a suitable candidate so far. However, there remains a possibility that a foreign defender could still join later in the season.
In parallel with the Nachmias pursuit, Hapoel Be'er Sheva plans to sign a foreign midfielder by Wednesday. Brazilian player Alan is reportedly a target, but no agreement has been reached, and the club is exploring other options as well. The overarching goal is to secure two new signings before Wednesday night.
The team is coming off a dramatic 2-1 victory over Hapoel Ramat Gan on Saturday.
