Israel Weather: Heat Eases Sunday, Returns Tuesday

Israel will experience a significant easing of heat and humidity on Sunday and Monday, with cooler temperatures and some local rain expected in the north. The weather on Sunday will be partly cloudy, with a chance of local rain in the north by midday. Temperatures will drop further, becoming lower than average for the season, especially in mountainous and inland areas, leading to a noticeable relief from the heat. The coast may see some light drizzle overnight.

Monday will also be partly cloudy with a possibility of morning drizzle along the coast. Temperatures will rise slightly but will remain a bit below the seasonal average, particularly inland and in the mountains. This period of relief is temporary, however.

Starting Tuesday, the trend reverses. Skies will clear after morning clouds, and temperatures will begin to climb, becoming slightly higher than average for the season. This will bring back heavier heat and humidity.

Wednesday is expected to be fair with further slight warming, especially in the mountains and inland areas, intensifying the heat. Forecasted temperatures for Sunday and Monday include Jerusalem (18-28°C), Tel Aviv (24-30°C), Beersheba (21-32°C), Haifa (23-31°C), Tiberias (22-34°C), Safed (17-27°C), and Eilat (28-36°C).
