Netanyahu Condemns Organized Israeli Rioters Attacking Palestinian Village Home in West Bank

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned Israeli rioters who broke into a home in the Palestinian village of Kousra in the West Bank on Saturday. The residents inside barricaded themselves and threw stones, resulting in several Palestinians being injured. Netanyahu described the violence as "wicked acts that harm Israel's standing in the world." Video footage published by the AP news agency showed settlers inside the house during the incident.

Security officials told N12 that the first IDF force to arrive at the scene faced a difficult situation. The unit consisted of only six reservists who encountered about 50 settlers storming the home and confronting the family inside. The soldiers decided to separate the groups rather than arrest the majority, allowing most of the rioters to escape. Later, Border Police forces arrived with riot dispersal equipment, causing the settlers to flee. This explains why no arrests have been made so far.

Officials characterized the event as a premeditated and organized attack, involving approximately 70 armed settlers carrying stones and clubs who came prepared to raid the village homes. The incident highlights ongoing tensions and violence in the West Bank between Israeli settlers and Palestinian residents.
