Meteorological Service Director Warns of Nighttime Rain and Flooding in Northern Israel
Dr. Amir Gevati, director of the Israeli Meteorological Service, reported that severe weather is currently affecting neighboring countries Cyprus, Lebanon, and Syria, bringing heavy rain and wind damage. In Israel, strong winds reaching approximately 70 kilometers per hour are causing reduced visibility, though widespread rainfall is not expected. However, during the night, rain is forecasted in the Western Galilee, Upper Galilee, and the Golan Heights, with possible flooding in these northern regions.
