Beitar Jerusalem Pursues Itay Ben Hamo in Trade Deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv
Beitar Jerusalem is actively negotiating a trade deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv ahead of their first Israeli Premier League match of the season against Maccabi Netanya. The deal is expected to bring winger Ori Azou to Beitar along with a significant cash sum, while Adi Yona, recently cleared to play, will move to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Maccabi Tel Aviv may also include an additional player to reduce the cash amount involved in the trade.
Beitar is particularly interested in acquiring Itay Ben Hamo, who would compete for a starting position alongside Brian Carvalho and Luka Gadrani. Meanwhile, Ori Dahan is not expected to remain with Beitar.
In parallel, Beitar is working to finalize the loan and purchase option terms for Colombian player Alexis Serna with his current club, Independiente Medellín, having narrowed the financial gaps.
