Former Hamas Captive Elkana Bohbot and Wife Welcome New Baby Daughter

Elkana Bohbot, who survived 738 days in Hamas captivity, and his wife Rivka have welcomed a baby daughter, adding a sibling to their son Ram. The birth took place less than a year after Bohbot's release in October. Bohbot shared a family photo with his wife and newborn, captioning it with the biblical "Psalm of Thanksgiving." The couple announced the pregnancy in April, with Rivka expressing that their story continues to grow. Throughout Bohbot's captivity, his family, including Rivka and his mother Ruhama, actively campaigned for his release. In a recent birthday tribute to Elkana, Rivka reflected on their love, describing it as brave and shaped by fear, absence, and uncertainty, yet steadfast. She also spoke about the family's ongoing healing process, emphasizing the importance of time to rebuild, recover, and rediscover themselves after his return.
