Boy, 5, Called Neighbor for Help During Mother's Fatal Stabbing

The incident occurred around 1:30 AM on Sunday, when the partner called the police emergency number and reported that he had murdered his wife. Emergency medical services received the call at 1:42 AM. Police and Magen David Adom paramedics arrived at the apartment to find the woman unconscious with multiple penetrating wounds. She was evacuated in critical condition to Soroka Medical Center, where she later died without regaining consciousness.

The couple has three children, aged 5, 16, and 20. Their five-year-old son was present in the apartment and witnessed the attack. Municipal social services are now providing support for the children. According to the police, there is no prior history of domestic violence in the family, and the motive is believed to be criminal. The investigation is ongoing.

In a separate incident on Saturday evening, a 55-year-old woman was seriously injured by gunfire in her Tarshiha home. Bullets penetrated the house, hitting her in the shoulder. She was treated at a local clinic and then transferred to Poriya Medical Center in moderate to serious condition. Police are investigating the shooting.
