Israeli Health Ministry Expands Recall of Hadar Biscuits Due to Oxidation Concerns
The Israeli Ministry of Health has expanded its recall of Hadar brand biscuits following consumer complaints about an unusual odor. The issue stems from oxidation of one of the product's ingredients, which are manufactured in India by Anmol Industries Ltd. and imported by Apifit Nazareth Biscuit Industries Ltd. The recalled product is the 500-gram vanilla-flavored Petit Beurre biscuits, with batch numbers SZ 32195 and 26A, and expiration dates of November 25, 2026, and March 7, 2027. The ministry urged consumers who possess these products not to consume them. In coordination with the Northern District Food Service of the Ministry of Health, the company is actively retrieving the affected batches from distribution channels. This recall follows earlier health ministry alerts concerning other food products, including a recent urgent recall related to strong fat removers.
