G. Wilifood International Ltd. has issued a recall for Petit Beurre biscuits weighing 1 kg and 500 grams due to undeclared sesame allergen presence. The recall follows a consumer complaint that prompted the importer to test the products. Laboratory analysis confirmed sesame contamination, which was not listed on the product labels as an allergen.
The affected products include Petit Beurre biscuits under the Wilifood brand with barcodes 7290117260180 (1 kg) and 7290108508888 (500 g), both expiring on July 30, 2027, and bearing the production code BDZ-3125 30:1. The manufacturer is Hazal Biscuit Gida Sanayi AS, located in Karaman, Turkey. The importer is G. Wilifood International Ltd.
Consumers allergic to sesame or any allergens listed on the product label are advised not to consume these biscuits. The company is working in full coordination with the Central District Food Service of the Israeli Ministry of Health to remove the products from all sales channels.
