Willifood International Recalls Sesame-Contaminated Petit Beurre Biscuits in Israel

Willifood International Ltd. has issued a recall for its Petit Beurre biscuits in 1 kg and 500 g packages after detecting undeclared sesame allergen in the products. The recall follows a consumer complaint that prompted testing, which confirmed the presence of sesame not listed on the allergen label. The affected items include Petit Beurre biscuits under the Willifood brand, with expiration date July 30, 2027, and production code LOT:30:1 BDZ-3125. The biscuits are manufactured by Hazal Biscuit Gida Sanayi A.S. in Karaman, Turkey, and imported by Willifood International Ltd.

Consumers with sesame allergies or allergies to other labeled ingredients are advised not to consume these products. The recall is conducted in coordination with the Central District Food Service of the Israeli Ministry of Health. Willifood International is actively collecting the recalled biscuits from retail outlets to prevent further consumption. The Ministry of Health has also publicized images of the removed products to raise awareness among consumers.
