All roads leading to and from the southern Israeli city of Eilat have been closed to traffic due to severe flooding. The police reported that Route 90 was blocked at the Arava Junction and at the northern entrance and exit to Eilat. Additionally, Route 12 has also been shut down. These closures mean that all vehicular access to and from Eilat is currently impossible in both directions. However, an exception has been made allowing departures from Eilat solely for the purpose of reaching Ramon Airport. The public is urged to avoid the affected roads.
