Israel Police issued an urgent announcement declaring all roads leading to and from the city of Eilat blocked due to severe flooding and flash floods. The main Route 90, also known as the Arava Road, is impassable in both directions near the Arava Junction and the northern entrance to Eilat. Additionally, Route 12, Route 40 between the Mitzpe Ramon and Ketura junctions, and Route 13 between the Menuha and Tzeh'or junctions have also been closed. Currently, all routes into and out of Eilat are blocked. The only exception allows drivers to exit Eilat specifically to reach Ramon Airport. Police are urging the public to avoid the affected areas, obey officers on site, and stay updated through official channels.
